Rotation[edit]
Despite visually having two orientations, Conveyor Belt Splitter internally has four facing directions. Its direction can be determined prior placing via swapping to a conveyor belt as the "facing direction" is carried over. The rotation of a splitter only matters in determining the initial priority direction.
Priority Direction[edit]
For uneven stacks the splitter alternates between sending the larger of the output stacks to either its back or front side. The initial priority direction is the splitters back.
